The year's tally of dead heroes notches up the wonderful Patrick McGoohan who found fame in the 1960s television series, Danger Man, and gave us the enigmatic and loopy The Prisoner.
I had such a major crush on him when I was little and now I see his partner was east Asian. So I was in with a chance after all!
